We receive Norwegian patients and delegations wanting to learn more about Karolinska's operations

Through a special agreement regulated in a contract with "De fire regionale helseforetak" in Norway, Karolinska accepts Norwegian patients in need of our care. The agreement primarily applies to proton therapy at the Skandion Clinic (a collaboration between all Swedish university hospitals) and reproductive medicine support.

We have many visits from Norwegian delegations. For example, Oslo University Hospital's management team has been here to learn more about Karolinska's production planning. Parts of their surgery unit will also visit us to learn more about our capacity planning. Oslo University Hospital also wants to understand better our service organization's digital work and our use of AI and robots.
